Flysight
The FlySight is a compact GPS device designed from the ground up for skydivers, wingsuit pilots, and canopy pilots who want to accelerate their learning and improve their flight performance. Manufactured by Bionic Avionics Inc., this innovative training tool provides real-time audible feedback during flight while simultaneously logging detailed GPS data for comprehensive post-jump analysis.
FlySync Compatibility
You can use our Flysight viewer to quickly visualize your tracks. You can also add them directly into your logbook and use our analytics to automatically fill in your jumps metrics. Read more about how importing Flysight logs work here.
We also provide a free trimming tool to shorten your Flysight track or convert them to Flysight v2 file format.
Flysight Internals
Depending on the year of production the GPS module is either a u-blox NEO-6Q or a NEO-7N.
The brain is a Atmel AT90USB646.
The whole platform (firmware and hardware, and even their viewer) is open source under GPL 3.0 license.
